R80RS

Well ... swilled out and emptied the the tank on the R80RS with some
petrol.

Then did the same with the float bowls, filling them with fuel before 
popping them back on the carbs.

Attached a car battery and jump leads.

After about 10 seconds of turning over the old girl fired up! And settled
to 
a good if slightly lumpy idle.

Not bad seeing as it hadn't run since about 2000 or so!

So now on to full service, sort out the brakes and a good front to back 
clean :)

Went to the R45 and did the same .... but it wouldn't respond to the start

button so either the relay is not working or there's some other electrical

gremlin. Given its not fired up since about 1992 it's allowed to be grumpy
I 
guess :)
